Your data stays on your device

Bloomie stores everything you enter — your baby's profile, milestone progress, feeding/sleep/diaper/growth logs, notes, favorites and preferences — locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not operate user accounts. None of that baby or health-related information is sent to us or to advertising providers.

Anonymous product analytics

Bloomie uses TelemetryDeck to understand where people leave onboarding and whether key features are useful. Bloomie sends only fixed event names such as first app launch, onboarding step viewed, onboarding completed, paywall viewed, subscription plan and purchase outcome, broad feature opened, and tracker entry saved. It also sends coarse technical information such as app version, iOS version, and device model. TelemetryDeck uses an anonymous per-install identifier and does not store IP addresses.

Advertising measurement

Bloomie uses AppsFlyer's Strict iOS SDK to count installs and sessions, understand which campaign led to an install, and report a limited set of coarse events: one app-open signal per local day; which fixed onboarding screen was viewed and whether onboarding completed; paywall viewed; trial started; and subscription started. Onboarding screen identifiers contain no answers or baby information. The SDK may process an AppsFlyer installation ID, Apple's vendor identifier (IDFV), IP address, basic device/app information, and ad-attribution data. It cannot collect Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA), and Bloomie does not request Apple's tracking permission. Measurement partners receive only reporting permitted by Apple's privacy rules; Bloomie does not use this data to identify or retarget you across other companies' apps or websites.

Analytics and advertising measurement never include your baby's name, birth date or age, milestones, log values, notes, health information, photos, your name or email, contacts, or precise location.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store settings at any time.

Apple may send limited subscription status events (such as purchase, renewal, expiry, or refund) so subscriptions work reliably. Bloomie's anonymous analytics records only the selected plan and whether a purchase succeeded, was cancelled, remained pending, or failed — never payment details or anything entered about a baby.

Backups, recovery and sharing

Your Bloomie data is stored locally, excluded from automatic iCloud and computer backups, and protected with iOS file encryption. Bloomie does not automatically sync your baby records or photos to our servers.

Versions that include Backup & recovery let you explicitly save a password-protected recovery file containing your baby's profile, saved care records, milestones, memories and photos, including Recently removed memories. The file is encrypted on your device before you choose a destination such as Files or iCloud Drive. Your chosen storage provider receives the encrypted file. Bloomie receives neither its contents nor its password and cannot reset a lost password. Anyone with both the file and password can read it, so keep them safe and separate.

A recovery file is a manual snapshot, not automatic backup or shared-care syncing. Restoring requires your confirmation and replaces care records rather than merging them; it does not transfer subscription access or device permissions. Before restoration, a password-protected copy of existing care data is saved locally. Save that copy elsewhere if you want it to survive app deletion.

You can also explicitly export JSON or CSV reports or share individual memories and photos. These ordinary exports are not password-protected recovery files. The people and storage or sharing services you choose receive the files you export.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes the baby data Bloomie stored on your device, including local recovery copies. Files or photos you previously exported or shared may remain with your chosen recipients or storage providers; manage or delete those copies separately. Bloomie has no account that identifies you. Anonymous aggregate analytics cannot be connected to a Bloomie account.

Children's privacy

Bloomie is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and no information entered about a baby is included in analytics or sent to advertising providers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
