By the second year, most children can share many of the same foods as the family, adapted for texture, size and salt. Aim for variety across meals rather than a perfect plate every time. Sit together when you can and let your toddler see you eat the foods you offer.
Seat your child upright, stay close and prepare foods for their current chewing skills. Hard, round, sticky and coin-shaped foods need changing or avoiding. Development changes quickly, but choking precautions continue well beyond the first birthday.
Daily play plans, CDC milestones, trackers — and CrySense, which reads your own logs when the crying starts.
