Children ages 1–2 are generally recommended to get 11–14 hours of sleep in 24 hours, including naps. This is a range, not a target every child hits exactly each day. One shorter day is context, not proof of a sleep problem.
Mood, alertness, ease of waking and the child's usual pattern add context. Keep a predictable wind-down and protect enough sleep opportunity. Talk with a clinician about loud snoring, pauses in breathing, persistent difficulty sleeping or daytime exhaustion.
Bloomie Rhythm uses recent sleep logs and age-appropriate ranges to estimate when winding down may help.
